Lauren Pollitt
Registered Nurse & Clinical Team Leader
Lauren’s journey into nursing began with a childhood ambition to be a superhero. As she puts it, she soon realised that nurses are superheroes in their own way, making a life-changing difference to the people they care for every day.
With a natural passion for caring and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives, Lauren spent 10 years working as a Support Worker before taking the next step in her career. At 29, she decided to pursue her ambition, completing two years of study at Bury College followed by three years at the University of Salford to become a qualified nurse.
Since qualifying, Lauren has gained experience across a range of healthcare settings, including district nursing, practice nursing, clinical education and street outreach nursing, where she supported people experiencing homelessness.
Now joining Thriving as our Registered Nurse and Clinical Team Leader, Lauren brings a wealth of experience, compassion and clinical knowledge to the team.
She is passionate about sharing her knowledge, supporting others and helping to make high-quality, person-centred care accessible to as many people as possible. With a commitment to continually learning, developing and being better every day, Lauren is excited to bring that passion to Thriving and help make a meaningful difference to the people and families we support.
